Research Experience
- PhD Student Researcher, Max Planck Institute for Informatics (Sep. 2025 – Present)
- Working on robot learning at the intersection of computer vision, representation learning, and action generation.
- Broadly interested in scalable learning for robotic intelligence and embodied systems.
- Current work studies action representations learned from video or demonstrations and their use in robot manipulation.
- Undergraduate Student Researcher, AI Lab, METU BILTIR Center (Jul. 2024 – Jun. 2025)
- Supervisor: Prof. Seyda Ertekin
- Conducted research on automated and efficient hyperparameter optimization using large language models, leading to the SLLMBO framework.
- Computer Vision Research Intern, Computational Biomedicine Lab, University of Houston (Jul. 2022 – Sep. 2022)
- Supervisor: Prof. Ioannis Kakadiaris
- Worked on computer vision problems including object detection from UAV imagery and representation-based similarity analysis.
